A good start; change your thought process!

One of the most common things I hear is people saying “I don’t eat… “ and then add whatever it may be that they have cut out of their “diet.”

Sure, certain things we should definitely eat less of, but this is actually less important.


However, what you are eating has a much bigger impact on you.

So my question to you is “what are you eating?”


Many people like to dig down to the nitty gritty of nutrition, many times over focusing on individual nutrients and maybe giving too much power to only one thing. While I am the first one to admit that the topic is very interesting, it is also to start from the wrong end. Building a healthy lifestyle actually starts in your head!


Maybe you recognize this saying:


“Watch your thoughts, they become words

Watch your words, they become actions

Watch your actions, they become habits

Watch your habits, they become character

Watch your character, it becomes your destiny”


Let’s move away from thoughts like:

  • I am not eating/drinking…

  • I have cut out…

  • I am avoiding...


DO think about:

  • What nutrients are in this food/drink that my body needs?


If the answer nothing - eat less of it

If the answer is a lot - eat more of it
